bonjour,
hello, I received the preampli ?F1x?. I have to connect the jack ?low pass in an amplifier basse.et the ?high pass? in an amplifier guitar. is the connection good????
I do not recall seeing anyone do this before; but I do not see why it would not work.
I think Stanley Clarke does something like this with his setup where he sends the bridge output to a guitar amp in order to get some crunch.
I tried it recently with my rig at home when I wasn't getting enough sound volume out of my 2 X10. It seems to work ok but I wouldn't really want to carry all the kit of my bass rig and my Fender Twin guitar amp to a gig.
You may want to try running the High pass out into the return socket of the amp to avoid overloading the pre-amp section of your guitar amp. It's also much quieter too.
Jazzyvee, Stanley use a Mackie mixer to send the signal trough the guitar amp.
