This is very cool.  I think it's a great improvement over the text only index.  And you can easily start clicking through and finding all kinds of wonderful stuff that you hadn't seen in a while.  Mica just finished it up a little while ago; and I've been revisiting so old favorites.

Good idea and nice page. One question: How is the selection for the COM? what is put forward? the instrument? the relationship between the buyer and Mica, the selection of wood, the result? I would be curious about everything.

Super very cool!
I din't know that Paul had the Riff King (Feb. 2002) - awesome instrument for an awesome guy.

What would be good is the ability to scroll through the pages using a next and previous link once you have selected one cotm without having to back out to the main page each time you want to see an item.

I wonder who has the most COTM's

Love that.  I like to see my plum pudding with all those great instruments!

A much needed upgrade to that area.  Very nice indeed.

Thank you. I'm working to improve all sorts of stuff on the website, but this page was really screaming at me.

I may try to add something like you suggest, Vince. I like indexes, and I have to remember not everyone browses in the same fashion that I do.

I think that technically Will Gun has the most Featured Custom instrument with 3, since one of the months there were 2 of his basses in the article. But the most Featured Custom articles that any one person has is 2, and there's a pretty good list of those folks.

Thanks Mica.
