I have an old Fender body, Squire neck that I pieced together and turned fretless.  Has a Precision/jazz combo.  I would like to make it active and install some better pickups.  I would love to find some Alembics, but it's not worth putting too much money into.  So does anyone have a set up they would like to sell?  There was an Alembic set on EBay for a bit, but it seems to be gone.  It was probably a bit pricey for this bass anyway.  Open to ideas.   Thanks, Allen
