Well, they got more than evicted...
the Grim Squeaker got 'em...with an assist from my dog, and they weren't all that smart I have to say.  And I was talking to Marvin just yesterday...at least that was the name of the salesman at the BMW dealership.

I should have known that 14 answers to my post were unlikely to contain offers for a load of Low B2s...oh well...

Maybe Hotblack Desiato has some.

Here's an Acme B-4, at a pretty good price.

So, the Death of Rats showed up for them?  (Since there are HHGG fans, there have to be at least a couple of Pratchett fans here).

In fact, I think that the Discworld (elephants, Atuin, the whole deal) would be a great inlay.

If you're a Discworld fan, you've got to see this:

I figured someone here would spot the Discworld reference & I am not surprised it's you, Bradley.

Yep, he came and got 'em. I did leave them an out, but they went the wrong way.

Terry Pratchett is just about where it's at for me, writing-wise. Much more than just an hysterically funny writer.

I'll admit that I have a fairly serious reading habit, and I'd say that Pratchett is the tippy-top of my favorite authors.  Much, much more than just satire, but actually laugh-out-loud funny when being satirical.

He's gotten a lot more serious of late, I'll admit a slight lump-in-the-throat formation when Sam Vimes is working to be on time for the 6 o'clock reading of Where is My Cow.  Kids, you'd move Heaven and Earth for them.

To not change the subject-- have you considered just getting it re-coned?  I've heard Andy's a little paranoid about his speaker recipe, but maybe he'd be willing to sell you new speakers.

Hi Bradley,

yes I've consdered it, but we're talking a lot more damage than just tears in the cone. Other than one woofer, everything is shot. I had to take out all the fill, which was full of mice crap, and the circuit board  is all messed up too. Just talking to Andy we figured the only parts worth keeping are 1 woofer and the cabinet itself. Add shipping to & from Colorado and it begins to cost about as much as a used one.

Well, Thud had a pretty dramatic reading of Where's My Cow, but it was still hysterical.  The confusion of the dwarfs was just too much.

for what it's worth, cabinet stuffing is available at any fabric store such as Anna's Lenens.  Place like that.  Just ask a woman or a lighting designer where the closest one is.

I just want to thank everyone for their help; I am going to be a happy Acme owner again in a few days.
