Hi David, thanks for letting me know however, after playing a couple yesterday I've decided that it isn't the bass for me. I didn't know how to delete this post from the alembic club and i couldn't edit it. I'm sorry. Since I've been looking I've seen the series one sell very quickly so hopefully you'll find a buyer quickly.

Hello David,  Very nice Bass!   I have 4 questions ; May I ask what the serial number is ? What kind of case are you including ? Are you including a power supply ?  5 pin cord ?
Thanks.

Hello David: I would be interested in the answers to Wolf's questions and in addition I would like to know the weight as close as you can get it. Also, could you wrap a cloth tape measure around the neck at the 5th fret just for grins if you have one. I have a secret love with a tiny neck but I'm not sure it will ever be available.
The Vermillion fretboard is a first for me.

I am going to guess it's a 1974 or 75? Is there a wood inlay around the bridge?

Don't we need brown PUP covers for that early?

sonicus

I can see why gtrguy thinks this early .  Perhaps it is that early BUT with replacement pickups ? Perhaps ?

What we need here is the SERIAL number to reveal the facts. Right?

From the pic of the bridge I would guess 76 or 77.

My Series I doubleneck is from 1975 and it has black pickups, but with only two screws.

sonicus

Hi Harry . So then your Double neck uses an old system with 2 screws . 76-544 looks like the new system. So then was 1976 the transition year with the new system ?   Your double neck is superb!
