The weight of a double neck does not appeal to me nor having to switch between necks - cool to look at though. I am thinking about having an 8 string custom built though.

I'd love to have it, but it would also be a hang it on the wall and look at it purchase for me as well.  If the price were right, I'd jump all over it.  But I suspect you are looking for 5 figures???

Probably not, but if you want to Email me your asking price we MIGHT be somewhere in the same ballpark.  Although I'd rather see someone have it that planned on actually playing it, I'd be estatic to own it.

eight strings are very difficuct to come buy. I waiited  nearly a year for a used one to show up. A forum member found one in asia, but I did not go for it. I decided to have one built. you can see it at Ray's custom  eight string, FTC, and in nearly an other year no others have shown up . If you locate a used one, don't hesitate too long.
