Saw the slide show and thought it was interesting.
 
I have no argument with you about the use of frets on an upright. If you want frets buy a bass guitar.

Flax~ What about Edgar Myer on the Double Bass?!  
Edgar has dots on his upright.
I copped his idea and had some dots installed on my finger board on my double bass.Does that qualify being a pus-pus? Does frets and dots make electric bassist's half pussies since they incorporate both markers? Ha!

Yeah bro, I know that dots are on them. Thanks though! So, you give a stamp of approval and are ok with a Double bass having dots no? And I mean 3/4 to full size double bass.

if you bothered to read some of the other posts
the difference between frets and no frets is night and day.  
 
ALL i said was the ns comes with dots.i didnt say i ordered them with dots. i didnt say i like the idea of dots. they certainly help from a learning perspective.  
but i have a little secret for you chalie.
DOTS DONT CHANGE THE SOUND....
We'll keep that our little secret- between us right bro>?

Depnding on the type of frets that are used raised or recessed), it may or may not change the sound either..bro~! shhh... keep that on the down low too. PS, thanks for spelling my name correctly!! Don't tell anybody...but I read all of the posts too! shhhh!!!! Peace-n-out cubscout!
