I once owned a Short Scale Series I Bass in Purple Heart. The serial number was either 76-425 or 76-428. I can't remember anymore. I once had Mica look for it but no luck. Mica, maybe you can tell me the exact serial number. The headstock cracked, but was repaired by Alembic. I also had new PU's, Master Volume, and Bridge added. It has LED's (which I originally paid $100 for LOL) Anyways, I sold it in the mid 80's to a bassist in Los Angeles. I also gave him an IN-2 with it. Boy I miss that bass now!! If anyone knows the where abouts of this bass, please let me know!!! I would love to buy it back! THANKS.
