led's in series 2 guitar 1979
are these wired in series or parellel?

I believe the LEDs on my 1977 Series I 12 string are wired in parallel.  I have one LED that shorts out when the frets around it complete a circuit (by pressing any string between the two frets.)  I believe this would only happen with parallel wiring as the other LEDs are unaffected.
