Does anyone know the name of the old pickup wire connectors used on 70s era Series instruments and where I can source them online?  Thanks!

Molex and I think they are hard to find. Mica might be able to help.

Thanks for the feedback.  I found the current plastic two pin versions as Molex, the older coaxial types will take some poking around to find.

You won't find the original coaxial connectors anywhere - they've been discontinued a long time. They were made in Israel, and during one of their conflicts in the mid 70's our order was redirected to the military and we were out a bunch of money because you had to prepay for them. I guess several years later a pile of them showed up. The company eventually fulfilled that last order!

Thanks for the background info, Mica, sourcing components is quite an adventure!  I saw your reply to my email and will follow up with you.  Thanks! :)

Very interesting - glad you brought this up rv; I had been searching for those online myself in the last few months, and I was also coming to the conclusion that they may have likely been specialty items that are no longer available.

Mica, I also just emailed you about this separately.  Thanks!

The idea of a 50-year old bass guitar built with mil-spec components still floors me... and that's just the electronic squiggly parts I don't understand.
