There's a 90s Alembic that has a lot of neck movement daily.  After some research micro tears in the neck finish let moisture in, anyone think that a neck refinish would keep her close to home?  heh

I can't imagine what you're describing making any measureable difference in neck stability.


When you say "a lot", how much are we talking about?

Is this a bass guitar?

What are the relative humidity conditions where the instrument is kept/stored?

Also, is this a high action or low action condition?
