Picked this one up a couple weeks ago.  Needed some serious corrosion control on the brass bits but it's getting there.  The top kind of looks like maple, but I'm not sure.  Any opinions?

Yessir, maple top, with a cool little curly-burly in it, on a mahogany core.

Thanks EOH, I wasn't sure because it seems a little darker in person than other maple-tops I'd seen.  It's amazing how many sounds you can dial in with just 4 controls.

Already thinking of a Series II.  These things are hazardous to your wallet.

Yeah - cool Maple top with a burl cluster. There's a lot of variation in color in most woods. This has aged a nice golden color.
