that is such a great looking bass i really really like buckseye burl i think it may be my favourite wood when i finally get the chance to come up with a custom i will use bb i think it just looks crazy in such a good way

How did you get the knobs to match so perfectly? Did you send Roger scraps from the actual top?

If I remember correctly, I just described the coloration to Roger at the time, and he used his wisdom & experience to come up with the right knobs. I would think emailing a photo of the top wood would be the best idea for an even more perfect match.
I was going to scrape off some of the top layer of the Buckeye from the bass to Fedex over, but thought better of it at the last minute.  :-}

I love the look of these basses.  The extra reach and enormous weight are such a killer for me.
