This is my 2002 brown bass serial number 02BB12934 with CUSTOM KNOBS - suto bass clef to infintity abalony swirl in ebony by THG. They look great with the neck inlays.

Brother Bill (another one ...it's raining Bill's ...alas also in my mailbox!),

welcome to this club and really you made a remarkable entrance with one remarkable bass. Very nice indeed. And knobbyRoger did a great work too. Although I'd love to see a detail from the knobs.

Hi Bill!

Great knobs.  They do bring in the neck inlays.  Are the inlays abalone as well?  THG has done some really great looking knob designs, on display in the Club.  I'm thinking about giving Roger a call for the bass I'm building now.

Welcome to the Club.  A good and friendly place where we, the insane, gather and play well together.  Seriously - good people, a wealth of helpful information and thinking, humor, drama, you want it - You got it!!

Your namesake, Bill

We're going to have to start distinguishing between the Bills like we do with the Pauls.

Oh yeah, welcome to the club,Bill, beautiful bass. I'm a big fan of the signature electronics.

Thanks for the imput on my bass. The neck inlays are abalone. Roger used an abolone that had stripes through it for the knobs. You can see it some on these two photos.I don't mean to cover everyone up with photos but I could not get these on the first listing. This is the second set of knobs for an alembic bass roger has done for me. He has done 3 sets total and more are in the works.Roger is one of those rare wonderful people, who's a great person and their quality is totally to Alembic standards. Also a crude photo of my rig. thanks  bill

One more time....Fantastic!  Beautiful, with a dash of whimsy for added flavor.  Those knobs are great!

...loove that woood, what a great bass.
The colors on those stringers blend mighty tastefully with the wingtops.

I'd love to hear her sometime, somehow.
