Just saw the Dregs last night in NJ and was floored to see Andy on stage again with this bass!! Highlight of the night. Was it a one night loaner? Regardless, thanks for sharing it here and allowing him to share it with us again, even if it was for one night.

That is so awesome - I was kind of jealous because I thought they weren't going to be coming to the SF Bay Area, but I just got my tickets for Santa Cruz 4/17! I've seen Steve Morse live once, but am really looking forward to seeing this band - and this bass!

If people are interested here's the Dregs website with tour dates:

Hah! The first time I saw them was in Santa Cruz at the Coconut Grove Ballroom! I still have the towel that Allen Sloan whipped out into the audience at the end of the show. Anyone want some 40 year old violin sweat?

Updating with correct labeling.  Moderator, if you don't mind, can you please delete the labeled photo on page 1 of this thread (or replace with this one if that's possible)?
Thanks!

Replaced the three-position toggle pickup selector switch that had been installed previously with an original Alembic four-position rotary pickup selector switch. The toggle switch was wired in mono for all selections when using the five pin or 1/4", so I had it wired to its original stereo output configuration.  I also had the RMC piezo-mag blend pot added, so now I can go from all magnetic Alembic pickups to a range of blend between magnetic and piezo, to all piezo.  I can also mix those pickup designations with the synth, or just have synth only, or have bass pickups only.  This is a very cool bass for experimenting with all kinds of sounds. Here is an updated photo...

Here are a couple more photos of the inlays...

Old 174 is approaching Mission Control status.  8)

The blend function is a big advantage.  :D

I absolutely love this inlay and if I could afford one would have this on a custom bass.
The sound of Alembic is medicine for the soul!
