I got this Essence 5 a week ago and can t stop playing it and now i would like to know about it.

Before I get a chance to research this bass, I just wanted to tell you it's absolutely beautiful! I believe the top is Tulipwood and the electronics are upgraded to Europa. But I'll confirm this and more once I get the file and do the cross referencing.

Looks like Tulipwood with Europa electronics to me, too. Nice score. I really like the look of Tulipwood but don't see it used much, nice to have something unique and the instrument looks to be in excellent shape.

Tulipwood is very hard to get these days in wide widths - most of the basses we made with Tulipwood are Essence models because they are the most narrow body shape we offer. It's a small tree, and rarely exceeds 30 foot height or 1 foot diameter. As a true Rosewood, I don't think we'll be seeing vast quantities coming available any time soon as the genus Dalbergia is all on at least Appendix II of CITES.

Yours is 2 numbers away (and 2 days younger) from mine which is almost exactly the same except for the Tulipwood
top on yours and walnut on mine. I could not be happier with my bass and I'm sure you are loving it too.

Wow that is AMAZING.
I never knew my Essence has a brother (well withs similar specs).
Build for the same dealer and at the same time and then years later to be reunited (sort of).
My Essence has found its home in Germay and yes it feels amazing and sounds really good.

This baby is going to stay in the family. Now itˋs mine. Thanks to Itsal for business.

Since September 2022 this beautiful Bass has a new Family in Germany. Near Hildesheim.
