I bought it through ebay from Beyer's music in Germany. It would be nice to know how it got there and how many owners its had from new.

This guitar was orginally sold to Beyer's Music. There's no record of ownership beyond the original sale to them.

Thats great, as when I got the guitar it looked like it had never been played. No wear on anything, frets, body no buckle marks or anything even the alembic gold lettering on the pickups are in perfect condition as are the pickups still unmarked by fingers sweat or plectrum marks. It's immaculate.
 
It seems like I am another fortunate person to get an Alembic that has stood in a store untouched and unsold for about 10 years.
