I bought this bass Used a number Of years ago and I admit I don't know anything about it. In fact I just discovered it has a battery in it! Any information you can give me will be much appreciated.

I bought this bass ~2000 at a local music store in Staten Island, NY. At the time there was a version of the club where we would communicate by email. I inquired back then about the history but I have since lost any information from back then.
I would love to know what kind of wood it is, how many previous owners there was and, if possible, what it sold for new. The bass was obviously babied as it is in great shape except for some barely noticeable buckle rash. If I found out there was only one owner before me I wouldn't be surprised.

Pete,
I am going to agree with Bill in the other post... that looks like zebrawood.
And it looks beautiful!

Paul (who is biased towards zebrawood)

Hi, Paul
Thanx for your reply. I don't think it's zebra wood although I wouldn't mind if it was. When I fight thru the haze in my mind from back then zebra wood doesn't sound right. If and when I do find out it will be posted here for all to see.

Regards,
Pete
