Could you give me the build info on serial #80 1703? It is a 1980 Series I fretless bass w/zebra wood front and back.  I purchased it in July of 06.  The core doesn't look like mahogany.  Thanks for any help you can give.

Well, there isn't a lot of detail in this file. All I can tell you is :
 
1. It was made for an individual in Florida
 
2. Long scale bass in Zebrawood (large figure requested)
 
3. Fretless
 
4. Birthday: October 20, 1980
 
Sadly, there isn't anything else for me to tell you. If you post a picture for me, I can take an educated guess about the other woods and put the photo in the file so at least there will be something more in there.
