There's a Series 1 for sale on Ebay.com.
The serialnumber is 77 615
Is this one for real or another Fernandes clone?

FC Bass

Just an FYI, all of the Fernandes clones had a zebrawood top and back with a maple core.

Since somebody bought this bass, and we've got records room access again, here's the details:

top and back: Myrtle
body: Birch
neck: Maple and Purpleheart, 34 long scale
fingerboard: Chinese Rosewood (never saw that before) mother of pearl ovals
peghead veneers: Walnut
birthday: January 28, 1977
originally sold to: LD Heater

In 1979, the bass was received for repairs. The nut was replaced with an adjustable nut. The letter stated there was a problem with the power supply, but the tests showed it functioned fine.

We saw this bass again in 1983. It arrived with no strings and the string nut in an envelope. The accompanying letter said that the truss rod seems to have snapped. The fingerboard was replaced and a new truss rod was installed. It also got a new string nut fitted, and a new bridge.

The bass has lived in Oregon, Oklahoma, and Tennessee.
