Do you have any photos you can share, we love seeing new members alembics. There are some experts here who can advise you on the spec of your bass before you get the official spec sheet details from Mica at Alembic.

Herb, I'm a long time owner and lover of Europas. I have a 1997, 5 string that I got in 2005 which is also Bocate but not as dramatic as that one. Of all the alembics I've tried this tone configuration I have found to be the easiest to use live. I hope you have a great experience with it and it would be good to get a gig report for you first live outing with it. :-)
