I have this Exploiter that my brother and band mate left me when he passed back in 93 and I would like some info on it and what or where to find out the value of it.

Right now, I can't locate the file for this bass. I let you know if I find it.
 
What I can tell from the serial number alone is that you have a Spoiler bass made in 1984.  
 
As for value, I can tell you what a new one would cost to build. This is what you should insure it for, so it can be replaced. If you want to sell it, and are trying to determine the value, I would suggest looking at completed ebay auctions, and strolling the  and see what your potential market is willing to pay. Since we only sell new instruments, we don't have a good idea of what is going on in the used market.  
 
If you post a picture of your bass, I can take some educated guesses about woods and features, and let you know what the replacement cost would be.
