This is my first Alembic!  Curious as to any history with this bass.  I picked it up from Bass Northwest a few months ago.

At some point in the past, this instrument was reported stolen, at least it is listed as such in Flip's reference table. If this is the case, I'm glad the bass has resurfaced, it already seems to have some mojo at age eleven

I think it was reported stolen on the Alembic site, updated the list.

yes, Flip, it was mentioned in a post scriptum of Bob's post (third from above) in a thread about Flitz Metal Polish... whuwuff thought that ?

Will be adding some more pics to the showcase soon, guts out (was a throrough cleaning!) and my own markings -My personal anagram, name and ID card number- drawn within the bridge pickup cavity, just in case. I definitely am NOT planning to part with him in the future!.
