This same Bass was on eBay not that long ago.I remember contacting the seller and commenting that the connectors on the 5 PIN cable are guaranteed to damage the neck where it is located in the case as shown in the picture. I am VERY particular about things such as that.

Medium scale is tempting...but no side leds...oh well...I'm spoiled.
