My thoughts on that are that Adam listed it on Reverb, and you discovered it on Reverb - so do the right thing and deal through Reverb; they've kept up their end of the bargain & deserve their fee.  Without said fees, they go away, and we lose a nice way to buy gear.

I understand that Peter. I do live about 30 miles from Adam. My last 10k purchase on an Alembic bass sight unseen didn't work out. The bass is also on EBay.
