Would be interesting to know... I've heard it described here as having been "a mighty log". This bass is #261, right in line with the other birdseye zebrawood models.

Saw that this morning. It does seem like a nice deal. Looks like the neck pickup was replaced at some point. Cool bass!

This one got gone in a hurry. 

I like the back wood more than the front, allright!
