That's a real beauty.  I wonder if it is solid koa or just koa top/back?  Either way, that looks like a special instrument, though I suppose that could be said about any Alembic.
 
The seller says he won't ship, but maybe some potential buyer could talk/bribe one of our SF area brethren into acting as an agent?
