hehe...I WANT too, but I'd have to buy a Ricky first...that's the excuse that's working (for the time being) for me.

Would love to put Activators in a Ric 8-string but I also like the stock pickups, so would need another 8-string, which is not in the cards. Ideally I'd get an Alembic 8-string! But also not in the cards at this point.

You know - at the price - with a little routing - you could give that project bass the electronics it really needs...it might be a "Frankenbass" but hey...I got one and I love it. I leave it in work and when i've got a few spare minutes...I'm just saying...
