musikdept

Nice looking bass.  I'm also adding fretex to my Persuader

jack

Hey Flax, I just got me one of these (5 FL; maple) and I really like it too.  Interesting about the backplate; my preamp pulls out at the jack.

PS I was born in Norwalk and grew up in Ridgefield.

PPS I love my FretFX on my Epic; need to get them for this 35 5-er.

was fearful of going to the 5 string due to my 32 scale basses and a 34 not being a big change, but wasnt rerady to gamble on a 35 scale
this is why i wont buy a modulus either.

i have a michael kelly 5 string/34 scale
dont care for how turner mounts or should a say dont mount the batteries holder,,,,just hangs inside

Look at it this way Jeff, playing a 35 will be like running with ankle weights... when you take them off you feel like you can fly!  The difference really is like playing the same line a fret or two lower.

Your hands can't be much smaller than mine, and I've been playing a Modulus for 10 years.  Then again, I'm not known for my blistering speed...
