2 Alembics listed on e-bay about midnight and by 9 AM the listing was yanked. One is an '03 or '04 MK 5 string bal.K. I don't remember what the other one was as I'm running on about 2 hrs. sleep. I'm not under the influence of anything other than coffee. The listing just looked a little off. Seller's Name was myjewelthief or something like that.

There was a 1980's graphite neck  standard point body shape on ebay as well that got yanked that way as well as another as per your  description last week. I had one of them on my watch list and  suddenly disappeared ! It had a BUY IT NOW  price  of $1.100 !
 I really did not trust that for obvious reasons but had decided to watch it and  ___POOF !!! GONE into thin air !  What's up with that ?       There was no trace of it ever having been sold !

When there is a way low price, the text of the ad is actually an image, and it says email me first, you can pretty much count on it being a fraud.

That is the Bass indeed !

Here is the thread of the '83 graphite bass when it was on eBay back in March 2009 and purchased by the Alembic forum user cashbass.  What a beauty it is!
