Hey Elwoodblue or anyone else that knows...what is the difference between the activators electronics and a stratoblaster. Still looking for electronics for my alembic strat retrofit pickups

The stratoblaster is a boost with no filter controls...just a switch that activates a boost.
The activators have a vol and tone pot.
 
I have found my activator guts and still need to test them to make sure all is well .
I also have an older stratoblaster I can part with..of course Alembic offers brand new ones with a new brass plate.
