When it rains it pours.  Another set of Alembic strat pickups has turned up on eBay for those who missed out on the set that just sold.  These are the pickups only - you'll have to get a pre-amp and filter, etc.,  from Santa Rosa.  Still, as a new set of these with electronics goes for $1050 msrp, this may be a good opportunity to Alembicize that Strat!

Will Alembic put new clips on the ends or do they sell clips for the ends of the leads?    
Any idea what a filter / preamp would cost?  Thanks
