Optimistically over priced for a 1994 bass i think.
The sound of Alembic is medicine for the soul!

I think it is, btw. on 19th I'm getting something nice :)
The bass player's function, along with the drums, is to be the engine that drives the car... everything else is merely colours.

mica

Extremely pretty Walnut on that Mark King Standard bass.

I am giddy with excitement. Is it what I think it is, Goran?  ;)

Does the photo show four 9V batteries?

(I think I need to finally open up the covers on my Mark King, I have not owned it long enough to know how many batteries it has! I had assumed it was like my Series 1 which only has two 9v batteries.)

What a beauty!

The four batteries are for LEDs. There should be a single 9V in the electronics cavity, just for the dual preamp.
