It certainly does Greg some good boxes, though my "no more basses or guitars since my Classico", embargo has held strong so far.
At the moment i'm still saving for a custom spectrum and this would be more appealing if it had two STR pickups at the bridge and a toggle switch to select either or both when the 5 way pickup selector is in the mid/bridge or bridge only positions. Also and mid position giving the two outside pickups as I never use the middle pickup solo'd on any guitar.
I will just watch. I guess that would be an expensive job to send back to alembic to do so when it's finished.
In any case for that price i'd want it to be more custom for me.

Looks like that one sold pretty quick as the link is dead, and looking at the site there is a sold spectrum.
