An interesting Bass ! I like that pickup choice.

The control plate is unusual. It looks good and fits well with the bass but I wonder if it is original or was done to fix a breakout of the 1/4 jack?

The bass looks like it's had some action over it's life. Which is a good thing. I think the same about the plate. Now if it was a planished brass plate like the famous #12,  that would look better.
I guess the other possibility is that the electronics are not original and the plate is there to get them to fit.

From the control layout they look like Essence or would it be Elan controls. I see what looks like a Q-switch in its normal position for a V/P/F arrangement.
