Who built this ?  It has the Alembic Logo on the head stock !

Nice looking bass. Maybe the neck lams are not as crisp and the selector is in a funny place, but that is a close repro.

Could it be real?  That looks pretty darn convincing.

Might be interesting to see what the control cavity looks like.

If this was indeed built by Alembic then the writer of the ad is doing them selves a great disservice in the description. There are major semantic conflicts in the description . In my mind ; reproduction = fake. Then they describe it a  Series I and also say it has Signature Electronics .    
                  Perhaps this is really a long scale Standard Point with Signature electronics  OR  Anniversary electronics  and a hum canceler embedded but not connected with 5 pin power added and pickup selector switched location changed.    Could that be the case ??

If it is an Alembic it could have been built with a Series 1 prep package. It makes it easier to upgrade to full Series when the owner has the funds.

I could be wrong, but I don't see mention of a serial# anywhere. The Bass looks awesome and a great deal, verifying the SN# could go a long way.

the serial number could be on the upper side of the headstock, almost invisable on photographs anyway..
