I think the reference to Gilmour is that he uses an F-2B, not that this particular one was his.

Wasn't there some kind of 'Gilmour Mod' done on these units or am I thinking of something else?

Yes, I don't think David Gilmour's was stock. Here's one webpage about it

I have seen many times where people try and sell their F-2B with the Gilmour connection even if it's a stock F-2B.

Just having fun with the advertisement. I'm not buying until the seller learns how to use a Caps button. 

The seller indicated "d gilmour". Maybe it was former NHL star, Doug Gilmour.
