$104,737,338 ??? If that helps to talk my wife into another Alembic aquisition, I'll owe you a beer or two

I guess I was not specific enough, so what I am about to write will really make your wife's entire life!

The reason that Peavey is SO expensive is the skull sticker. Just put one on the face of your 2005 Series II and voila! Instant value! I'd say you could easily ask for 120M. (But remember! You can't ask that much if you cover any of the LEDs with the sticker!)

And I accept your offer! Considering the stakes, I'll take a keg.

I see... it's the skull sticker... please excuse me a little while, I HAVE to shop for some stickers and apply them everywhere on my entire property... will be back soon and report !

WOW, and it didn't even belong to Jerry Garcia's plumber's brother-in-law's mailman!  I do believe, however, that the purchase price includes a free psychiatric examination.  lol

I am sorry but Guitar Center will not offer Free Shipping on an amp which sells for less than 116 million dollars.

ralphl

However, buy any guitar or bass over 90 million and Guitar Center will include a quality strap, professional 12' shielded guitar cable, and deluxe padded gig bag (with spacious storage pocket); ALL AT NO EXTRA CHARGE! FREE!

Do you think that price is firm, or do you think they might come down a little?

jazzyvee

You may get a few million  off for cash :-)

Maybe one of us should buy this thing and damage the finish like the copy of Eddy Halen's red & white Strat which was on eBay for for $25K recently....  you know.... resell it and pick up a few million in profit for treating it like a player instead of a religious icon.

Any fools... i mean takers?

It is not very exciting, but I think what happened is someone put the inventory number in for the price. Notice that they are the same.

WHAT??!!
You mean the asking price on that bass is not $104,737,338.00??

I...I've just lost my faith in honest advertising. Man, what a shock.

Todd, what do you think that bass is worth, 60 million? 40?
Guitar Center, ya just can't trust'em!
