That ad in Shreveport is indeed a fake.  The bass is not going anywhere near Louisiana.  I flagged the Craigslist add, and if you see it up again, please have it taken down.   

That's tempting.

But I don't play all of the basses I have now.    How many BecVar instruments can possibly be in Louisiana?    This brings the count to 3 that I know of.

Trevor, Tom is urging caution over the Craigslist ad, not your Reverb ad. The Craigslist ad (subject of the post) appears to have "borrowed" your pictures and ad text, and is in Shreveport, Louisiana. This often indicates a fraudulent post. It may be completely legitimate but it seems strange. We're just kinda' watching out for each other here. Sorry to hear you're on hard times. I noticed you've posted a couple nice basses lately. Hope you get it turned around.

I don't think there was a problem with your Reverb sale.....,the question arises with the sale days later in Shrieveport, LA of the Same Bass for $1,200.00 less!  And they use Your photos.

Sorry about my misunderstanding of the post.  That is indeed a fake ad on Craigslist, so somebody please flag it to have it taken down.  The bass is not going anywhere near Louisiana, and has been here in CA with me.  Thanks for the enlightenment and caution for the bass community.
