Sweet, and I'm sure it's worth every nickel, but I just don't have that many spare nickels...  :D

Interesting neck recipe. I don't recall seeing too many with a center laminate of ebony. Am I correct in assuming that the width of the ebony laminate is less than the the diameter of the strap lock screw, so that the screw's threads are actually engaging maple and /or purpleheart ?

The ebony and purpleheart appear to be the regular size for neck laminates, the maple pinstripes are always a nice addition to the sandwich. AFAICT the strap lock screw attaches to the center laminate only.

Eddie's Guitars is the only dealer in the United States that has a new Series I bass (and a new Series II 5-string on the way). The only other dealer on Earth that carries new Series I and Series II instruments is Station Music in Germany.

This Series I shortie at Eddie's has some other cool custom options like silver-bound abalone fret markers, bookmatched peghead with inlaid logo, beveled peghead, and of course that luscious Ebony central neck laminate flanked with Maple veneers. The chrome hardware and continuous wood plates are standard on Series I basses.

It's a totally cool custom bass in stock to play without delay. :)

Beautiful bass! Can't wait to see the five-string they ordered. What kind of body shape is it?

Balance K Omega in Superb Walnut for the incoming Series II 5. It's an amazing piece. It will be the first bass shipped out of Classic Ct.

Uh oh...changing my response to... please don't let me see this :)  Now I am even happier to have the Series II Walnut Balance K five I got last year. It would have been torture to see the one going to Eddie's which I know is going to cost way beyond my financial ability to buy.
