So I got this bass and it is in AMAZING condition... you will never find a more near mint '82 Series II - I promise you.  Plays and sounds amazing as well, of course, but ergonomically it just isn't going to work for me.  I am going to return it to Bas Emporium and eat shipping both ways - but I thought I would throw this out here just in case someone else wants to buy me out for the full amount - $5000 plus shipping and any Paypal fees, if used.  Let me know ASAP as I am sending it back soon...
