It fell off a guitar stand.  My guess is that when it fell off the guitar stand, the guitar stand had just been thrown out of an airplane.

Possibly something John Entwhistle might have achieved with a really good swing. If I were Alembic, I'd resent the implication that my instruments wouldn't stand up to minor bumps.

It fell off the guitar stand and fell on his head, LOL!

Fell off the stand when the van backed up over it. I guess the tread pattern was an experiment in inlay.

Anyone that believes this story may indeed deserve this bass. Royal Oak is trendy, cool, little party town. Full of interesting, alternative shops and clubs. The main drag offers a number of live music venues. There are also quite a few small, some scary, music shops selling vintage instruments. I'm thinking this baby was born in one of these stores where everyone is treated the same, like idiots. If I may quote the infamous Nancy Kerrigan,WWHHYYY?

Nothing an M-80 couldn't fix...

It just sold off bay for $400 + s/h

What!?!  Then mine must at least be worth $500.

Michael: Are you sure that's not one of yours (It looks like a short scale also)???

dela217

Nope.  Not mine.  That one's a lot newer than any of the ones I have.  I am guessing that one to be a 1980 or so.
