It was a great deal, Takeo.  It actually came in a few hundred USD less a couple weeks ago through their website.  Much cheaper than going through Reverb but well, you have to pay in yen  You're right, it was a total mess. The corroded brass bits were a pain to clean.  And I have no idea what kind of gunk got crammed onto the neck dots to completely obscure them.  Really, I probably don't want to know what that was.
