Notice how they cleverly never commit to stating that it's an Alembic Bass but describe it as an, "Alembic Bass Guitar Style Neck Through Body Bass Guitar. The actual manufacturer is so well known internationally that they don't even have to provide the name.  At least they are equitable in ripping off others, in this case Gibson, as the model is described as an "SG Custom."

In all fairness, I read the listing as stating it is an Alembic Style, not an Alembic.  The description also states:  "Brand: Unbranded".  Maybe it's just my tendency to give the benefit of the doubt, but the listing seemed to me more of an inelegant attempt at English than a rip-off.

Well "New 4 Strings Alembic Bass Guitar Style Neck Through Body Bass Guitar Accept OEM" is a trademark violation - they know exactly what they are doing if you look through their other listings. I've written to them - I still give people a chance before escalating to the VERO program at eBay.

Mica, you need to be more like Fender.  They just shove a lawyer down your throat, and tell you you can't even use the letters F,S,or T. How do I know this?  Don't ask. LOL.
