This one looks like it might need a new fingerboard at some point soon.
Is it delaminating and the crack decided to follow the weakness in the grain as opposed to the glue joint towards the body?

Poor bass must have seen some serious swings in temp/humidity .
As  the seller doesn't seem to be a musician and they are getting inaccurate info from their 'repair shop'
(not a missing binding, and not a Series II),
I'm guessing that their testing didn't include a blue box or testing with a stereo plug.

Wow, any sellor describing that kind of damage as 'missing binding' is not being honest.

Wow...this really sold for $2550.00??  last time i checked series I basses were demanding a higher price than that.

glocke,
are you referring to the other fretless series I the seller has for sale?
It still has over a day to go, that one will go up before it's ended...no question.

Seller tells me no power supply; does not respond to info in re it being a SI & losing its fretboard, and neither my question nor the corrections are on the sale page.
