I have a maple bodied europa which has become my main gigging bass. However i do love dark wood tops on alembics so that aesthetic really appeals to me. Most of the 5 string elans i have seen seem to have a much more slender neck width, but this one looks like a comfort neck. But i hope someone grabs it.

Actually the more I look at it, I am coming up with lots of reasons to own two 5 string Alembics..

I can see no reason to limit yourself to one 5 string alembic.
