Congratulations to Stanley Clarke on his inclusion in the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture. One of his Alembic basses and several archival photos are included in the museum exhibit. After the opening dedication ceremony on September 24, Stan will give a free bass workshop at the Fannie Lou Hamer Stage at the Washington Monument Grounds at 2:00pm. This news warms our hearts and we feel honored to be a small part of this event.
