Today is July 14, 2012, 100 years from the birth of Woody Guthrie.  Here is some with Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee.  Woody died in 1967.  A major influence in music and in American culture, perhaps one example of his importance is his influence on a young Bob Dylan.  Happy birthday Woody; and thank you.
