Singing there is Jorge Ben, Mas Que Nada composer. At the other acoustic guitar you can see Gilberto Gil, great composer, thinker and former state minister. If you are into brazilian music, check both their work. They also have made one important 70s LP called "Gil e Jorge", where they dived deep into their african roots.

Jorge Ben made a landmark in brazilian popular music. Until him, Bossa Nova was ruling most aspects of our production with its harmonic and melodic complexity. Jorge Ben was more interested in early rock'n'roll (chuck berry et all) and mixed that musical simplicity to a more traditional samba feel shooked critics and musicians while pointing towards a more visceral and direct aproach.

Gilberto Gil, already renown composer and singer, was so bewildered by Ben that seriously thought givin' up music saying that he showed  him how far he was from his roots. Beacause of Ben, Gil changed his music writing, biasing towards using more percussion and started to use distorted electric guitars (a "sin" to a "serious" brazilian composer at early 60s).

I am learning to play songs by both.  Incredible catalog of songs between the two of them.
