Phaez Custom Alembic + Hiwatt Design | Reverb UK

In the text it does state "As it was explained to me, the design combines an Alembic-style preamp with a Hiwatt-style power section"
I wonder if the title of the listing is loose enough to cause a buyer to think this is designed in collaboration with alembic?

Just a thought.
The sound of Alembic is medicine for the soul!

From reading it I wouldn't think so. Also, the 'Alembic style preamp', if referring to the F2b, means it is like a 60's Fender Dual Showman preamp, which is a classic design that has been around for quite a while and schematics of it are on the net.

Putting it in the title of the ad is bad form.

Agree, poor form. What it does though, is make the thing, whatever it is, appear in searches for Alembic. And for us junkies that have that particular keyword watched constantly in our feed, we get pinged whenever an ad with that exact match is posted, whether the item is legitimate or not.

Or course most of us here know what is and isn't...
